CRCS Phil Rooney Memorial Golf Tournament

The 6^th Annual CRCS Phil Rooney Memorial Golf Tournament, in support of Charles H. Best Diabetes Centre returns to Oak Ridge Golf Club for the 2012 edition.  Come join CRCS Disaster Kleenup for a great day on the links. This tribute to the beloved Phil Rooney is the MUST-Do tournament of September, all while raising funds for diabetes.

THE CAUSE
CRCS Disaster Kleenup has raised $56,500.00 over the course of the last five years for the Charles H. Best Diabetes Centre, in Whitby. The Charles H. Best Diabetes Centre promotes positive integration of diabetes management into the daily life of children, adolescents and young adults and their families. The provision of comprehensive education and life skill instruction is facilitated through individual sessions at the Centre and in the home.

TOURNAMENT SCHEDULE, Saturday September 22^nd 2012
10:30 am - 12:00 pm                        Registration, Driving Range (Included)

11:00 am - 12:30 pm                        Lunch (provided)

12:45 pm                                         Shot-gun Start  (scramble format)

Phil Rooney  - The Legend
Phil Rooney Sr. was the General Manager of CRCS Disaster Kleenup for twenty years until his untimely passing in February 2007. A devoted family man and amicable boss, Phil was a formidable presence throughout the Insurance Restoration Industry. He was much loved by the staff at CRCS Disaster Kleenup and the memory of his jovial laugh still rings through the shop. It is in Phil’s memory that this tournament was founded, as golf was one of his many passions. The proceeds are being donated to the Charles H. Best Diabetes Centre because of the assistance they continue to provide to the Rooney family.
